This is the invitation to Lauren's ice cream birthday party. Which she's turning 10 years old...10 years old! Who said she was allowed to turn double digits? Certainly not me. Luckily I still have one more month before this travesty happens. Now if we can just get our mess of a backyard cleaned up and looking nice before the party. Craig finally cut the grass (and I use the term "grass" loosely) yesterday, but hasn't put the weed and feed down b/c the cut grass is too thick for it to penetrate. I bet half out yard is gonna die off when we do it. Hopefully it will grow back fast. The drainage ditch behind our house has not been properly cared for by the city (read: they are too lazy to come all the way back and cut the shit!) so now we have poison ivy growing over the whole fence and stupid popcorn trees growing along the fence line threatening to tear down the fence. So first thing tomorrow I have to call public works and put in a work order...lot of good that'll do. I've called before and nothing has been done, but I'll call again.
On a different note...the Big Blog Challenge, from now on termed as BBC, is starting today, and I already won TWO raks!!!! Yay me!!! Guess it finally paid to be up at the crack of dawn with Ethan! Heehee! Thanks to Tiphini for the challenge and the wonderful raks!!!

I know what you mean about your dd hitting double digits. My middle dd is going to be 10 in a couple of months which will put me with TWO children in double digits (and one starting high school in the fall). I don't know whether to celebrate or cry. Hope your dd's party is a blast!
LOL Congrats on you RAKs! I need to just do my blogging at 12:01 a.m., but I'm usually trying to get the baby to sleep! By the time I get his lil butt in bed, I'm so exhausted!
