Feeling HOT, HOT, HOT (BBC)

So, assignment number one is to blog about something HOT...

How's this for hot? 102* in the shade. We in the South have HOT summers, hot and humid, hot and muggy, hot and smothering. Take a shower, go outside and your shirt sticks to you and you feel the need for another shower. That's why so many of us are beach bums, pool bums, river and creek (that would be pronounced crik) bums. Why we love being on the boat, on jet skis, on the islands. We need the water and the breeze that comes with it, to cool off because it's just too damn HOT!

AMEN TO BEACH BUMS!!!!!! I'm up around central MS for the summer so I know all too much what you mean when you refer to your shirt sticking to you and feeling the need to take another shower. Its the same way in North Central Louisiana, too. UCK I hate the humidity...but I LOVE the beach....wonder if we will be going to the MS gulf coast again this summer......

Now, that's what I call hot! Here in San Diego, the weather is perfect most of the time. We never think about A.C. until a couple weeks in September, then boy, we wish we had one.

I love to jet ski! I am going to miss the oceans, lakes, rivers, and creeks this summer LOL! After having the baby, I'm not really feeling the urge to go out in a bathing suit!

102 and it's only the first of June?? Ouch! Here in Michigan we'd about pass out if we hit 102 in June! Although it would be nice just to get up into the 80's sometimes...
